【范文】
The drawings compare the different ways two students approach an assignment. In the left picture, the girl writes quickly on her notebook, deciding it’s better to get everything done as soon as possible while the boy in the right picture relaxes on a sofa, not doing anything about his task, obviously planning to leave everything until the last minute.
The drawer, in my opinion, attempts to warn us against the bad habit of procrastinating. In our study or work, the most important thing is to finish things in advance, so we’ll have plenty of time to go over the work we have done and check for imperfections to make sure that our final work is of high quality. If we procrastinate and let unimportant things divert our attention, when the deadline draws near, we are sure to panic and we will have to do our work in a very squeezed amount of time, which is going to be difficult for us to guarantee good work. And the most possible scenario is that we have to ask for an extension, leaving bad impression on our professors or bosses and also hurting our efficiency.
In a nutshell, it is dangerous to be a last minute person, if one aims to be a high achiever in work or study, he/she definitely needs to get in the habit of completing his/her work well ahead of time.
